Art programs are underfunded and pedagogical research shows that students create their best work when there is a stakeholder involved.

To combat this, Art Funder is an application where students can upload art, local communities can buy art where the money goes to support art programs, and school officials can set up these processes.

While it's primarily an web application, it has also been transformed into Android app and deployed to Google Play Store

Sign-up/login for art schools and buyers(email/password, Google). Edit profile page for both personas. Activate account and reset password functionality.

Art Schools are able to upload photos to the site and set the price of art. Buyers can search an art and filter through using different categories. Secure payment for art buyer to pay full price online or deposit if collecting from art school.

Email notification when a buyer buys an item. In-app communication tool between buyer and school pre or post sale. User buyer can see art that is physically sold nearby.
